A new endeavor! I'm a traditionalist at heart, especially when it comes to horses, but even I love to color coordinate with my horse. Saddle pads and polo wraps are great, but bling, bling is a thing, and I was only able to ignore it for so long. When I finally caved to the thought of adding some sparkle to my browbands, I started to think about the practicalities involved. Have you ever tried to clean one of those rhinestone studded browbands? Oiling the leather becomes nearly impossible, and I just couldn't handle that limitation. So combining my love of coordination with my desire to still be able to clean my tack, I came up with a way to add the bling that fit my current color scheme and remove it to clean and oil the browband after use.
